Here is a selection of sherds from the same Grey Ware vessel which has been decorated by rouletting – a decorative technique where a small, toothed wheel or notched tool is rolled against a spinning clay vessel to press continuous horizontal bands of tiny, evenly spaced geometric indentations. Also with roughly incised cross hatching and a wavy line. Mid-3rd to mid-4th century.
